With the country-wide lockdown, Maruti has introduced an online configurator to give the prospective buyers a glimpse of the recently launched Dzire facelift.

Maruti launched the Dzire facelift a few days back in the country at a starting price of Rs. 5.89 lakh. The car cannot be checked out in person due to the nationwide lockdown till April 14. However, the car can be checked out and configured online on the Maruti Suzuki website. The carmaker has introduced an online configurator for the prospective buyers to see how much would their car cost and how it would look like when delivered. The configurator will let you check out almost every bit of the car. In the configurator users can choose colours, trims options, and the official accessories they wish to get with the car at the time of delivery.

The configurator also offers users the convenience of a 360-degree view of the car from outside as well from inside. Also, the configurator will show the ex-showroom price of the car after you are done with your build. Talking of the paint shades on the Dzire facelift, it is offered in Metallic Magma Grey, Metallic Premium Silver, Pearl Arctic White, Prime Sherwood Brown, Pearl Pheonix Red, and Prime Oxford Blue. The interior of the car is finished in a nice combination of black and beige with the use of faux wood trim on the dashboard.

The Dzire facelift is decently loaded with the features. It comes equipped with LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED taillamps, 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, updated 4.2-inch MID, leather-wrapped steering wheels with audio and cruise control buttons, rear-seat armrest with cup holders, and an updated 7.0-inch SmartPlay infotainment system. On the safety front, the Dzire comes equipped with dual airbags, reverse parking camera, seat belt warning, and electronic stability program with hill-hold assist function.

With the facelift, Dzire gets an updated 7.0-inch screen for the SmartPlay infotainment system.

With the facelift, Dzire has got itself an updated petrol motor, however, it now misses out on a diesel engine as an option. The Dzire comes with a 1.2L K12M DualJet petrol engine as the Baleno. The naturally aspirated unit is good to whip out a peak power output of 90 PS and max. torque of 113 Nm. It can be had mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT.
