Maruti Nexa will introduce a new interaction film named Ranveer Calling starring Ranveer Singh to promote its premium MPV Maruti XL6.
Maruti XL6, the premium MPV based on the Maruti Ertiga, was launched in August. Unlike its original model, the Maruti Ertiga is retailed via Maruti’s premium dealership network Nexa. As a part of the promotion campaign, recently Maruti Suzuki Nexa introduced an interact film named “Ranveer Calling”. On this film, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, Maruti Suzuki’s brand ambassador, wil interact with viewer and help them to expore aspects of the premium MPV. Following the screen instruction, the viewer can interact with the program to know more details about the XL6. The interactive format allows prospective customers to experience the new MPV without going to the dealership. Ranveer Calling also gives instructions for interested viewers to book a real-life test drive with the Maruti XL6. This unique approach is hoped to build a positive impression for the customers and encourage them to buy this new model.

Commented on the launch of the Ranveer Calling campaign, Executive Director of Marketing and Sales Department, Maruti Suzuki India said, “‘Ranveer Calling’ is a step forward towards the creation of personalised experience for the customers.” The digital campaign is designed to help customers to get to know the new Maruti XL6 with Bollywood star Ranveer as their personal assistant. He also emphasized that ideas and innovative technology are the driven force of Nexa and they believe that the newly-launched interactive digital campaign will successfully connect to audiences. Ranveer Singh himself also urged the audiences to join this campaign and share this “wonder novel experience”.

Maruti XL6 focuses on comfort and premiumness. Exteriorly, the new MPV features a sporty style. On the inside, the focus is shifted to the plush side with a load of upmarket features including two individual captain seats for the second row and all-black upholstery. Moreover, the MPV is designed with enhanced safety for the occupants inside the car and the pedestrians outside.
Under the hood, Maruti XL6 is powered by a BSVI-ready 1.5-litre petrol engine with Smart Hybrid system. This engine is good for a maximum power of 105 Ps and 138 Nm. It is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
