Maruti S-Presso Available With INR 53,000 Discount This Month

Maruti S-Presso is being offered with massive discounts of as much as INR 53,000, which will be maintained throughout the festive season with even expected greater discount. This is the second highest discounts to be offered on Maruti cars this month; the first is the Maruti Celerio which is being available with discounts of INR 58,000.

The Maruti S-Presso is being available with a cash discount of INR 23,000, an exchange bonus of INR 20,000 and a corporate discount of INR 10,000. If all these discounts are adopted, the base and top-spec variants of Maruti S-Presso can actually be bought with only INR 3 lakh and INR 5 lakh, respectively.

The Maruti S-Presso is the second best seller in the entry-level hatchback segment with the first position held by Maruti Alto. The only reason for the higher sale of the latter in comparison with the former is the latter’s bigger size and more trusting name. Positioned between the Maruti Alto and the Wagon R, the S-Presso is stuck somewhere in the middle with a remarkably lower sale number.

The Maruti S-Presso receives its power from a 1.0-litre 3-cyl gasoline burner which can generate 69 PS against 91 Nm and is coupled with 5-speed MT/AMT. The features on offer consist of a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, steering-mounted controls, electrically-adjusted windows for all doors, powered ORVMs, rear wiper/washer and powered ORVMs.

In other news, the Maruti Alto is xpected to receive a totally new generation by next year with only a 0.8-litre motor and a lower price. The Indian largest automaker is also planning to introduce a new generation for the Maruti Alto with more features and more powerful motors.
