The ongoing tough situation has put a heavy toll on the automotive market. After an entire month of suspension in April, operations in the automotive industry resumed last month and demand has shown signs of growth. To push sales, some car manufacturers are willing to offer attractive discounts on some of their vehicles. Currently, Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest-selling carmaker, is offering discounts that go up to Rs 47,000 on the S-Presso.
The Maruti S-Presso is currently on sale with a cash discount of Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 and a corporate offer of Rs 2,000. Additionally, there is an exclusive offer of Rs 5,000 in the Delhi-NCR zone.

As per the prediction of experts in the automotive industry, the pandemic might lead to burgeoning demand in the budget car segment since there are more people wanting to have their own car in fear of getting infected from sharing space in public transports. Apart from these comfort and entertainment features, the S Presso is also loaded with several standard safety features like driver airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, front seatbelt reminder, and speed alert.
Under the hood, Maruti S Presso derives power from a 1.0-litre petrol engine which is capable of making a maximum power of 68 PS and top torque 90 Nm. This single engine option is mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT.
Maruti S Presso is currently available at the price range starting from Rs 3.69 for the base variant to Rs 4.91 lakh for top-spec trims. This month, customer can buy the S Presso with the discount benefit of up to Rs 48,000 which comprises of Rs 20,000 direct discount and Rs 20,000 worth of exchange bonus and Rs 8,000 from other additional benefits. The S Presso is now retailed via Maruti’s Arena outlets network.
