Along with the Dzire BS6, Maruti Suzuki also launches the BS6 versions of Tour S CNG, Tour S(O) and Tour S(O) CNG in India.

Alongside the introduction of the 2020 Maruti Dzire facelift, Maruti Suzuki has also introduced some BSVI-compliant updates for the Dzire Tour S which is basically the second-gen Dzire taxi. Maruti Suzuki has announced that the Tour S CNG has been compliant with the new BSVI emission norms. Also, the Optional variant of the Tour S is introduced in India, which is now available in the BSVI petrol and CNG configurations.

The 2020 Maruti Tour is now available with an Optional variant.

Price list of Maruti Tour's new configurations:

  • BSVI Maruti Tour S CNG – Rs 6.36 Lakh

  • BSVI Maruti Tour S(O) petrol – Rs 5.80 Lakh

  • BSVI Maruti Tour S(O) CNG – Rs 6.40 Lakh

As for the third-gen Maruti Dzire, the car now draws the power from a BS6 1.2-litre K12N Dual Jet VVT petrol engine in place of the outgoing K12M 1.2-litre Dual VVT naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder gasoline unit. The combustion efficiency is enhanced while the friction is reduced considerably in the new engine option.

The Tour S (second-gen Dzire taxi) will carry forward the ongoing petrol and petrol-CNG variants and won’t see any mechanical change anytime soon in order to keep the cost in check.

Unlike the new regular Maruti Dzire, the Maruti Tour (or Dzire taxi) hasn't come with BS6 1.2-litre K12N engine or the latest set of styling updates.

Just some days back, Maruti Suzuki announced its plan to sell its Touring vehicles in the Commercial channel where the Super Carry and Eeco are retailed. Thus, we will see the Tour S (Maruti Dzire), Tour H1 (Maruti Alto), Tour H2 (Maruti Celerio) and the Tour M (Maruti Ertiga) make their ways to the Commercial range. Currently, Maruti Suzuki’s commercial network gets over 320 stores spreading across more than 235 cities in India.
