Maserati V6 Petrol-Powered Levante, Ghibli and Quattroporte Launched In India

The Italian car manufacturer has launched V6 petrol engines for its popularly known models anmely- Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante. The Maserati Levante, Ghibli and Quattroporte will extract power from a 2,979 cc, V6 twin-turbo, direct-injection, GDI petrol motor.

The Maserati car line-up in India has just received new V6 petrol motors for its popular models- Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante. The new engine options will be offered into the Indian market in standard and ‘S’ variants as a division of Italian carmaker’s model year line-up. Moreover, for the Indian market, Maserati is also offering new colour shade options and bigger alloy wheels. The Maserati Levante, Ghibli and Quattroporte will extract power from a 2,979 cc, V6 twin-turbo, direct-injection, GDI petrol motor, which churns out 350 bhp of peak power and 500 Nm of twisting force. All the models can accelerate from 0-100 kmph under 6 seconds.

The new engine options will be offered into the Indian market in standard and ‘S’ variants as a division of Italian carmaker’s model year line-up.

The engine is built by Ferrari at their Maranello facility, and the new engine options comply with Euro 6c and BS6 emission norms

 On the other hand, the Ghibli S, Quattroporte S and Levante S get the same motor, which is tuned to produce 430 bhp and 580 Nm of torque. All the three ‘S’ models sprints from 0-100 in just 5.2 seconds (Levante S), 5 seconds (Quattroporte) and 5.9 seconds (Ghibli). The engine is built by Ferrari at their Maranello facility, and the new engine options comply with Euro 6c and BS6 emission norms. In both the standard and ‘S’ variants, the transmission duties are done by an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.

1) Levante: Rs 1.41 crore

2) Levante S: Rs 1.53 crore

3) Ghibli: Rs 1.31 crore

4) Ghibli S: Rs 1.44 crore

5) Quattroporte: Rs 1.63 crore

6) Quattroporte S: Rs 1.73 crore
