Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG GT 63 S 4-Matic 4-Door at a price tag of Rs. 2.42 Crores, which also happens to be the fastest 4-seater production car in the world.

Mercedes-Benz is the only luxury-car manufacturer that has marked its presence at the ongoing auto expo 2020. The German car-maker has showcased some of its niche products at the expo floors so that the visitors can get a taste of how these exotic machines feel like from inside. However, the manufacturer has also launched the world’s fastest 4-seater production car, aka AMG GT 63 S 4-Door Coupe.

Mercedes-Benz GT 63 S is the fastest 4-door production car as of now.

The car is launched at a price tag of Rs. 2.42 Crore. The price it is launched at is exorbitant, but the numbers printed on the spec-sheet justifies it with ease. The car comes with two engine options to choose from, an inline-6 motor, which can belt out 435hp and a V8 motor that has a rated output of 639hp. With the V8 motor, the AMG GT 63 S can reach the 100kmph mark from a standstill in just 3.2 seconds. How? It is the 900Nm of twisting force that helps it do the wonders. Also, the car has a claimed top speed of 315kmph.  Transmission duties on this beast of a car are handled by a 9-speed automatic gearbox, which is coupled to Mercedes-Benz’s 4-Matic all-wheel-drive system.

The 4-door coupe has a mind-numbing 900Nm of torque and does a sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds.

With mind-staggering power figures, Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 S is designed as one of the most sensuous cars we’ve ever seen. It is a low as a 4-door car can get to cheat the air resistance and use it to develop some serious amount of downforce to stick on the ground. The design is, however, typical Mercedes with a big-wide grille on the front wearing the pointed-star logo and sleek lines all around. If the exteriors or the performance are luring enough, they tend to have a hardcore approach to the interiors, which isn’t the case here. The interiors on this long-range fast-pace missile are inspired from the Mercedes-Benz’s chariot on wheels, the S-Class. However, it would a super-rare car to spot on the road and if you do, share the pictures at IndianAuto.com
