The long-wheelbase variant of the Mercedes E-Class has been spotted. The car is expected to make its way to Indian shores by the middle of the year.

The first images of the new Mercedes-Benz E-class LWB facelift have surfaced online. The car will be available in two versions- a standard-wheelbase (SWB) model, which will not be available in India, and the long-wheelbase (LWB) version of the car, which is exclusive to the Indian and Chinese auto markets.

The facelifted E-Class sports pretty significant cosmetic changes over the outgoing model. The headlamp design is completely different, as is the front bumper. Even the front grille is all-new, featuring slimmer horizontal slats. The bonnet is adorned with the brand’s three-point star, which feels more like a hood ornament than a badge. As for the side profile, it is now curvier than before, with a new design for the alloy wheels. At the rear, the taillamps are now sleeker, wraparound units, and the tailgate is redesigned as well.

The system can be had with either two 10.25-inch screens or two 12.3-inch screens, and features the latest MBUX UI. The interior theme will be dual-tone, with three colour options- magma grey/macchiato beige, magma grey/neva grey, and black/nut brown.
