MG Cyberster's Digitalized Interior Revealed Before its Global Unveil

The MG Cyberster is an upcoming electric supercar from the automaker. Its biggest USP is the gaming-inspired interior with a unique steering wheel and sports seats.

MG Motors has revealed a new set of teaser images of its upcoming electric supercar, the Cyberster. The new supercar is going to come with a gaming cockpit, which will be the first in its category. It will also get connected car tech along with 5G connectivity. MG to all-set to unveil the Cyberster fully on March 31, 2021. The electric supercar is expected to have a single-charge range of 800 kms.

The Chinese-owned British automaker claims that the Cyberster’s digital cockpit combines virtual and reflecting digital intelligence. The images also show the avant-garde shaped steering wheel instead of a conventional design that gives a gaming like feel to the driver. The steering also gets a dual-tone texture, a multi-dimensional button for the thumb and an index finger button on top of the steering wheel. The Cyberster also gets zero gravity seats with a multi-surface splicing design that claims to provide ample back support for the driver from all angles to deliver a true sports car driving experience. Other features of the MG Cyberster’s interior include a light band, a large LED infotainment system, and digitalized feathers on the front armrest to create a tightly wrapped driving atmosphere. MG has also used high-gloss metals inside the cabin.

The teasers do not give a detailed look at the MG Cyberster, but going by the features that have been revealed, it should look bold and futuristic. The front-end of the car gets a sloping nose with a sleek air intake and lip spoiler while the headlights are an oval-shaped unit. The side profile of a Cyberster gets a sculpted design, accentuated by the side skirts and alloy wheels. Moving to the rear, it gets a flattened tail with LED taillights and a rear diffuser while the MG logo is illuminated.
