MG is finalizing the launch of the Gloster for the Indian market. We are set to see the MG Gloster going on sale in the coming weeks and bookings for the new upcoming 7-seater SUV have commenced underway with a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. While we’ve reported that the all-new body-on-frame SUV by MG will be not only big in its size but also very feature-rich, we get the proof now as MG has already revealed the variant-wise features of the Gloster to the enthusiasts. Here are all details.

Engine Specs

Before we dive into the features package of the MG Gloster, let’s take a quick tour at what the Chinese-owned British-branded SUV has to offer under the bonnet. The all-new Gloster will be available with a single 2.0-litre diesel engine option that can generate two states of tune 163 PS/ 375 Nm and 218 PS/ 480 Nm of torque. The SUV can be had with an 8-speed AT along with either a 2WD and 4WD configurations.

The all-new MG Gloster will go on sale in India by the end of this October with the price starting from somewhere around Rs 30 lakh (estimated, ex-showroom). Once launched, it will take on the models like Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Mahindra Alturas G4.
