MG Hector Plus Online Booking Commences - Full Details

MG Motor India has started accepting the pre-launch bookings for the upcoming Hector Plus. One can book the all-new 6-seater SUV against a sum of Rs 50,000. The upcoming MG SUV will be offered in two different trim levels namely- Sharp 6S and Smart 6S. The price of the all-new MG Hector Plus will be announced in the coming days. It is expected to carry a premium of around Rs 1 lakh over the prices of the regular 5-seater model. Once launched, it’ll rub shoulders with the likes of Mahindra XUV500, upcoming Tata Gravitas, and 7-seater Hyundai Creta. Mechanically, the SUV will derive power from three different engine options - 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, 1.5L petrol with a 48V mild-hybrid system, and 2.0L diesel engine.

The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol mill will produce peak power and torque outputs of 143bhp and 250 Nm, respectively. It will come paired to a 6-speed DCT. The 2.0-litre diesel mill, on the other hand, puts out 170bhp of max power and 350 Nm of twisting force and will come mated to a 6-speed MT. The 1.5-litre petrol hybrid power plant will max produce power and torque outputs of 143bhp and 252, respectively, and will come coupled with a 6-speed MT. The all-new MG Hector Plus will be offered in 2+2+2 seating configuration with individual captain seats in the middle row. One can also expect SUVs 7-seater trim to arrive at a later stage. Inside, the all-new MG Hector will feature a new Smoked Sepia brown leather seats.

It'll compete with the likes of Mahindra XUV500 and upcoming Tata Gravitas

The Starry Sky Blue colour shade will be exclusively offered with the 6-seater model. It’ll come loaded with features like a huge 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with latest connectivity features, Infinity audio system, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 7-inch MID, panoramic sunroof, and multi-colour ambient lighting. Also, it will boast of MG’s i-Smart connected car technology that offers more than 55 connected car features. Along with starry Sky Blue, the all-new SUV will also be offered in five other shade options, namely- Glaze Red, Starry Black, Candy White, Burgundy Red, and Aurora White.
