MG Hector Spotted With Audi-inspired Turn Indicators

MG Hector was spied driving without camouflage with Audi-inspired turn indicators, which is among many first-in-the-segment that Hector offers.

MG Motors has recently taken the wrap off the Hector SUV. With several first-in-the-segment features, the Hector is a promising model to arrive in the market. Also, the MG is spied several times. In the latest video, the Hector is spotted with dynamic LED turn indicators similar to those found on the Audi models. MG Hector is also the first in the segment to sport this feature.

In the new official video, the MG Hector was fully revealed and driving at night in Gujarat. Fortunately, it was also the show time for its dynamic lighting system. The sweeping rear lights are integrated with the turn indicators. Also, the video also captured the front face of the vehicle. On the fascia, it features the LED DRLs flanked the large mesh grille on the higher part. The projector headlights are located on the lower bumper. Indeed, the lighting system of the Hector has delivered a very impressive show of light, from the front to the rear.

Also, the MG Hector looks imposing on the road thanks to its large dimension. In fact, MG Hector is the biggest car in its segment, thereby outclassing the Tata Harrier and the Mahindra XUV500 in the dimensions race. It will feature the largest footprint of 2,750 mm, a segment-leading height of 1760 mm. Also, it measures 1835 mm in width and 4270 mm in length.

MG Hector will come with a load of first-in-the-segment features

What’s more, MG Hector is equipped with a load of features including a 10.8-inch full-HD infotainment system with 5G connectivity and eSIM, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, 6- airbags. Also, the portrait touchscreen could be operated by voice and gestures to control the window, AC and so on. To provide the best driving experience, the MG Hector will be equipped with Real-Time Navigation, Remote Location, Geo-Fencing, Emergency Response

MG Hector will get two engine options, 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol and a 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine. These engines could produce 148 PS/ 250 Nm and 170 PS/ 350 Nm respectively. While the petrol variants are offered two gearbox options which are a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the diesel engine will be exclusively paired to the 6-speed manual gearbox. Moreover, it comes with hybrid powertrain as an optional option for the petrol engine.
