Modified Ford Mustang Showcased At Bangkok International Motorshow 2019

Ford has brought their iconic vehicle, the Ford Mustang, to the BIMS 2019 in Thailand. The Mustang on display is mildly modified with black-red dual tone paint.

Even being one of the most iconic cars of all time, the Ford Mustang was just launched that the Thailand market last year. The latest version of the Mustang is on sale at the price of 3,599,000 baht, which is equal to Rs 78 lakh.

The six-gen Mustang is styled differently. At the front end, it features sharp headlights integrated with tri-slat LED DRLs. Air scoops are put on the lower bonnet. Other design elements that receive updates include the front bumper and new 19-inch alloy wheels. To the rear side, the six-gen Mustang gets an updated bumper and new trio-bar taillight units. For this particular displayed model, the mild modification is restricted to the new dual-tone car paint, which makes the stock Mustang appear sportier and more stylish. On the other hand, the regular Ford Mustang is only available in four monotone colours - Orange Fury metallic, Race Red, Magnetic metallic, and Shadow Black.

Inside the car, Ford offers the Mustang with a 12-inch digital instrument cluster along with various advanced driving assistance features including adaptive cruise control, distance alert, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assistance along with pre-collision assist with protection for pedestrians. To create the premium feels inside, Ford Mustang takes in some stylish touches like embroidery and soft-touch plastic on the centre console or the ambient lighting around the instrument clusters and door handles.

When arriving Thailand market, the Mustang comes with two engine offers which are 2.3-litre EcoBoost and 5.0-litre V8. While the former also the smaller could put out the maximum power of 290PS the latter is capable of making 450PS. On the Thailand-spec Mustang, the old 6-speed automatic gearbox is replaced by a new 10-speed automatic unit.
