This is the first known modified Hyundai Creta that sports huge wheels

Being one of the most successful compact SUVs in the India market, Hyundai Creta has gained a stable number of buyers. Even since its launch, it has headed straight to the number one space in the segment.

Besides being the segment-leading model, Hyundai Creta is not a stranger in the world of car custom. We have seen a myriad of modified versions of the Hyundai Creta. However, none of them could have such a striking appearance as the following rendition of the Hyundai Creta. The key feature of this Creta comes from its massive wheels painted in the glittering-gold shade.

This version of the Creta is more on the weirder side of the customization world due to its unproportionately huge-sized wheels of 33 inch. Considering that the average size of SUVs is ranging from 15 inches to 18 inches, a 33-inch wheel is truly outstanding. The original wheel size is 17 inches, which means the newly-integrated 33-inch tyres are way larger than the current size. In order to adapt the new obscene tyre size, changes are made on the front bumper and the arches are customized as well. And to emphasise this grand features, the inner part of the wheel is given the gold-painted garnish.

Apart from the huge wheels, this Creta also gains some subtle customizing jobs to add highlight to the transformation. For example, upon the front end, apart from the revised bumper, it gets a new set of lights mounted on the roof.  The new nameplate that reads “VIPMANDEER” is also tagged along in this customized Creta.

The normal Hyundai Creta is excellent SUVs in most cases. However, when it comes to off-roading, some enthusiasts might feel a bit put off by Hyundai Creta’s limited offroading competence. But with the addition of the prominent wheels, Hyundai Creta could conquer the tough terrain at ease. Along with the comfort of a popular passenger vehicle, this modified version will make a good company when going off-road. But, as the engine setting is kept intact under the hood, expect no change of power surge in this costumed Creta. The recent Creta is provided with three engine options, namely, 1.6-litre petrol (123PS/151Nm), a 1.4-litre diesel (90PS/220Nm) and a 1.6-litre diesel unit (128PS/260Nm).

The original Creta is available with two drive setting options: 2WD and AWD. While the 2-wheel-drive setting comes as standard across the range, the 4WR is restricted to the top-spec variants only.

It seems that the Creta has established an undefeatable position in the segment. However, with the recent rise of the compact SUV segment and the waves of newcomers, Hyundai could not overlook their cash cow. Next year, the Hyundai Creta will be upgraded and gain more premium features.
