Modified Suzuki Jimny From JAOS Tuning Looks Ready For Some Serious Off-roading

The fourth-gen Suzuki Jimny is quite popular among enthusiasts around the globe since its official launch two years ago. The SUV has been in the limelight due to its affordable price and great off-roading nature. The car is also quite popular among the modifiers as many customization firms have already showcased their modification options for the fourth-gen Jimny.

Earlier, We’ve seen some custom jobs where the off-roader is converted into a G-Wagon replica. Here we have images of a recent mod job, by JAOS Tuning from Japan. This modified SUV looks like a complete badass, as the modifier has increased the ride height and replaces the stock rims with new 16-inch wheels surrounded by BF-Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/ A KM3 tyres.

This Suzuki Jimny also features a white paint job with some decals and silver accents. Upfront, the stock grille is ditched by an aftermarket unit, which is inspired by Kei cars from Suzuki named as Lapin and Hustler. Both cars were quite popular in the Japanese domestic market. The rear profile of the SUV employs round taillamps. Moreover, the off-roader features JAOS badging all around. A few minor tweaks are also made inside the cabin of this Suzuki Jimny. The off-roader gets a removal sports steering wheel.

The modfied Suzuki Jimny is propelled by the same 1.5-litre engine

Mechanically, the modified Suzuki Jimny remains the same, it derives power from the 1.5-litre four-pot K-series motor that produces 102bhp of peak power and 130 Nm of twisting force. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed MT and an optional 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The SUV sits on a ladder frame chassis, which is suited for off-road use than straight highway driving. The SUV can also touch a top speed of 145 kmph.
