Based on the CLAR platform which is shared with the 5 Series and 7 Series, the BMW 3 Series will come with a lighter body by 55 kg. This reduction in weight will benefit the vehicle with better driving dynamics as well as the higher fuel efficiency.

Dimensionally, thanks to the new platform, the length width and height of the 3 Series was extended by 76 mm, 16 mm and a marginal 1mm, respectively. Also, the wheelbase grows by 41 mm. The extension in dimension means a lot for the interior space inside the BMW 3 Series. It is not the end yet; the 2019 BMW 3 Series also has a bigger boot space. At 480 litres, the cargo space is 36 litres larger than in the previous model, giving more space for storing belongings.

About the exterior design, 2019 3 Series’s style is strongly influenced by a 5 Series and 7 Series. For example, it inherited an expanded signature kidney grille from the 5 and 7 Series. It also gets a refreshed bumper, new alloy wheels and LED tail lamps.

Especially, the infotainment system is updated with the latest software of BMW that has a different interface and new functions. You will also find an ambient lighting system of 16 colours in the new 3 Series's interior. The audio system features 16 speakers sourced from Harmon Kardon.

On the 2019 BMW 3 Series, it will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel motor. The former engine could generate 285 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque and the latter is packed with 190 PS and 400 Nm under its belt. An 8-speed auto gearbox comes available across the range.
