The next-gen Hyundai Grand i10 is slated to be longer and more spacious than the outgoing version, it was recently spotted with the new interior setup

A couple of months since the next-generation Hyundai Grand i10 was spied testing on the Indian roads; the upcoming hatchback has been spotted testing in the snowy weather of Sweden. From the spy pictures, the new Grand i10 appears to have become longer and wider than the outgoing model. This should lead to a massive space increment inside the cabin. As the Euro-spec model is smaller than the Indian version, we could expect an even bigger and more spacious car to come to us in 2019.

Sharing the similar cabin layout with the all-new Kia Picanto, the Hyundai Grand i10 will offer a comprehensively different interior when it’s launched in the country. A new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system will be housed on the top of the dash like the recent modern vehicles. The AC vents are likely to be mounted under the screen with automatic climate control is equipped as standard. Particularly, five buttons have been fitted near the gear lever that can be functioned as short-cut buttons for the infotainment system control. Hyundai is trying its best to offer the top-notch comfort and convenience on the new-gen Grand i10. A refreshed instrument cluster has been mounted on the car’s dashboard with a new MID screen standing between the speedometer and the tachometer. The cabin, overall, displays a premium spirit with the high-quality materials in use. Three headrests are also spotted at the rear seats while the design of the door pads has been renewed with rearview mirrors and front-seating separated headrests.

The Grand i10’s equipment list is slated to be a big surprise including new multifunctional steering wheel, keyless entry, start/stop push-button, rear AC vents, power-controlled exterior mirror and reverse camera. Besides, the chassis is suspected to get an upgrade to intensify the safety of the vehicle.

In the global market, the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 will derive the power from a 1.0-litre inline 3-cylinder motor along with a 1.2-litre Kappa engine which comes engaged with both manual and automatic transmission. The India-spec i10 is more likely to utilize the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine while the diesel variant might be missed out from the production line as the paucity of popularity among the Indian customers. The all-new Hyundai Grand i10 is projected to be on sale during the festive season.
