Here are the images of the new-gen Hyundai i20 without camouflage. It's the first time that the premium hatchback has been spotted on public roads without any cover to hide details.

For people who can’t wait to see the new-gen Hyundai i20 on road, here, we have new spy images of the all-new hatchback giving the clearest view of the car in broad daylight. This is the first time that the upcoming car has been spotted on road without any camouflage. The new B-segment car will rub shoulders with the likes of Maruti Baleno, VW Polo and Tata Altroz in our market.

Outside, the new-gen Hyundai i20 will feature full LED headlights, shark fin antenna, underbody spoiler upfront, LED taillamps connected through a full-width reflector strip and faux rear diffuser.  Also, the India-bound i20 will probably employ 16-inch alloy wheels while the Europe-spec model will get 17-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the new-gen Hyundai i20 gets a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument panel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with advanced connectivity features, Bose premium audio system with eight speakers and LED ambient lighting. The new-gen i20 will also sport Hyundai’s Bluelink technology for connected car services.

As seen in the table above, the new i20 will be sold in a total of three engine variants - 1.2-litre Kappa petrol. 1.0-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi turbo-diesel. The base petrol motor will be available with two transmission options - 5-speed MT and CVT, while the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine will offer 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCT options. The oil-burner will be available only with a 6-speed MT.
