After Hyundai Verna facelift, the upcoming new-gen Hyundai i20 will feature the Starry Night paint job, and here's how it looks.

New-gen Hyundai i20 will go on sale in the country from November 5. In the new-gen avatar, it has ditched the ‘Elite’ prefix. Also, Hyundai is likely to begin the deliveries from November 5 itself, as the car has already started reaching the dealer stockyards. It will come in a total of four variants and eight colour options. One of which is Starry Night. This colour scheme debuted on the Verna facelift and will now be available on the i20 as well. As of now, Hyundai has released the pictures of i20 in Fiery Red paint job only. But how good this Starry Night paint job looks on the new i20, none has a clue. Well, not anymore. Here’s a set of pictures of the Asta trim of new-gen i20 in Starry Night colour scheme, which was sent to us by one of our readers.

In the spy shots, the i20 looks impressive. We can tell that it isn’t the Turbo-variant of the car as it misses out on the ‘Turbo’ badge on the radiator grille, which is finished in piano-black. The upswept headlamps feature a smoked effect and also get an i20 moniker on the sides. Another interesting design element on the new-gen i20 is the BMW-inspired design for the ORVMs. Talking of this Starry Night paint job, it lends the i20 with an understated appeal.

On the sides, there are 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which look like those seen on the Verna facelift. But they are not identical to each other. They are chiral, instead. From the rear, the new-gen i20 looks flashy with a lot of piano-black elements and Z-shaped tail lamps.
