New Hyundai Santa Fe Unveiled: Now Looks Bigger And Better

Hyundai has finally unveiled the new Santa Fe facelift that is expected to hit the European market in the second-half of this year. The 2021 model is based on an all-new platform.

Hyundai revealed the fourth-gen Santa Fe back in February 2018. Now, after two years, the carmaker has officially unveiled the mid-life facelift of the car. The new 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe is more than a facelift because the updated model is underpinned by an all-new platform. Outside, the 2021 model employs changes like a wide front grille, which feature distinctive patterns depending upon the trim. The SUV also gets split headlamps along with T-shaped LED DRLs. The 2021 model also gets a new set of two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels that makes the SUV look more modern and futuristic.

Hyundai has finally revealed the mid-life facelift of the Santa Fe

The rear profile of the car gets LED taillights along with a new LED bar light, which runs across the tailgate and connecs both the taillights. The overall picture is completed by a redesigned skid plate and a red-coloured reflector positioned on the bumper. Moreover, the car also employs roof rails, a sporty-looking rear spoiler with integrated stop light and a shark fin antenna. The technical specs of the SUV are still under cover, but we know that the upcoming model will feature a new centre console with additional storage compartments over the ongoing model. The SUV gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with latest connectivity options, satellite-based voice-guided navigation and much more.

The 2021 model will get Terrain Mode Selector fixed on the centre console that offers three terrain modes namely- Sand, Snow and Mud. The SUV will also offer four different driving modes like Eco, Comfort, Sport and Smart. Moreover, the new model will also get a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with some soft-touch material. The mechanical specs of the car are expected to be revealed soon. The SUV is scheduled to hit the European market in September this year. From our market, the 7-seater SUV was discontinued back in 2017 because of low sales figures. The new model is likely to hit the Indian market in the near future.
