New Hyundai Santro Pre-bookings Cross The 23,500 Mark

Hyundai dealers have recently announced to register 23,500 marks of pre-booking for the new budget hatchback which is the Hyundai Santro. The pre-booking for this hatchback has just been accepted from October 10. This also means this mark is nailed within 13 days. 

Hyundai Santro has received 23,500 interests in terms of pre-booking within 13 days

Speaking about the launch of the new Santro, YK Koo, the MD and CEO of Hyundai India reported to the media,

"We are proud to announce that the Santro has received an overwhelming response once again. We had opened pre-bookings for the car exclusively online and we have now received 23,500 bookings for the all-new Santro"

The car is one of the most awaited cars in the festive season. The overwhelming number of bookings also represents that the market has responded positively thanks to the interest volumes. YK Koo, in a state also claimed,

"The huge number of bookings account for 3 months production volume already and we thank the customers for this response."

As for the variant range, the new hatchback is available in five trims including

• D-Lite

• Era

• Magna 

• Sportz 

• Asta 

The new hatchback offers five trims

In which, the Asta variant offers the inclusion of CNG for two variants which are the Sportz and Magna. Regardless of the base trim or the top-spec, all the trims will receive the power via the 1.1-litre with a four-cylinder engine. This engine can produce 69hp, 99Nm as for the petrol variant and 59hp, 84Nm as for the CNG variant. The petrol variants will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox and the 5-speed AMT gearbox which are only available in Sportz and Magna trims. The CNG variants will only be available with the 5-speed manual gearbox.

Hyundai Santro will deliver 1.1-litre with a four-cylinder engine across all the variants

The new Santro hatchback has officially launched today with the introductory price of Rs 3.89 lakh. 

The formidable rivals of the new Hyundai Santro will be the Datsun Go, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Tata Tiago.
