Actor Ayush Sharma is the first celebrity in Bollywood to receive the Land Rover Defender. The star has brought home a Land Rover Defender SE 110.

Land Rover Defender was launched in India last month at the starting price of Rs 73.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The luxury SUV comes in two configurations, 3-door version (the 90) and 5-door version (the 110), and five trims. Bollywood star Ayush Sharma has become the first one in the industry to take the delivery of the new Land Rover Defender. Recently, the actor has posted pictures of himself next to the newly-delivered Land Rover Defender.

As per the posted image, the Land Rover Defender owned by Ayush Sharma is the SE 110 version. This variant is currently priced at Rs 86.64 lakh (ex-showroom). Reportedly, the actor received his new prized car on November 3rd. His Land Rover Defender SE 110 is painted in Santorini Black.

Moreover, the Defender can raise its ground clearance by 145mm, allowing the driver to find the ideal traction in different terrains. What’s more, the ground clearance can be lowered by 50 mm for easier ingress and egress. The water wading depth of the Defender is rated at 900 mm. On the top-spec model, the Defender comes with a 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, automatic climate control, connected car technology, 360-degree camera, and many more.

Before the launch, Land Rover started receiving bookings for the new Land Rover Defender at an introductory price which is lower than the official price by up to Rs 4 lakh. Customers who submitted bookings later will have to buy the Land Rover Defender at full price. Still, at the moment, Land Rover only opens booking for the 110 version. It is expected that bookings for the three-door Defender 90 will star around April-June 2021. Land Rover imports the SUV via the CBU route.
