Mahindra Thar is expected to go under the knife and come back with a nose job. These pictures of the prototypes of new-gen Mahindra Thar with camouflaged radiator grille speaks so. Read the complete report here.

The second-gen Mahindra Thar was launched last year in the Indian market, and the carmaker has recently announced that Thar has been sold out till May this year. It currently has a waiting period of around nine months. The new-gen Thar was welcomed with a warm response by the Indian audience. With the new design, it still has the resemblance of the last-gen Thar intact. For this very reason, almost everyone loved the way it looks. However, its rather-quirky radiator grille was criticized by many. But it seems like Mahindra is acknowledging the customer inputs and is readying the Thar with an updated radiator grille. Recently, a video was shared on a social media platform by Thahiz Zaman.

We have earlier reported that Mahindra is testing the Thar with a new radiator grille and bigger windows of the hard-top. However, this is the first time that the prototypes have been spotted testing in high altitude. As of now, it’s tough to comment, how the new radiator grille will look like. But, do not expect a Wrangler-like 7-slat grille, but a slightly-different design should be expected.
