New Maruti Vitara Brezza BS6 Model Features Revealed

The unveiling of the 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift was done at the recently conducted Auto Expo. Recently, the manufacturer announced that it will be launching its updated sub-4-metre SUV on 15 February. As we have been saying, the new model features a handful of minor styling updates and a BSVI-compliant petrol engine that comes from the Ertiga and the Ciaz.

The Brezza facelift will come with a petrol-only power plant this time. It is going be the same K15B powerplant seen under the hoods of Ciaz and S-Cross. The engine will return fuel efficiency figures of 17.03 kmpl with manual variants, however, the automatic variants of the car will return a figure of 18.76 kmpl. The automatic variants of the car will also be aided with Maruti's patented SHVS mild-hybrid technology. Recently, we revealed about what variants and colours will be offered with the Brezza facelift. Now, new information reveals the variant-wise features list of the car.

The LXi variant is going to be the entry-level variant. It will come with Halogen projector headlamps, LED guide lights, high mounted stop lamp, body-coloured door handles and ORVMs, 16-inch steel wheels, body-coloured bumpers, and turn indicators on ORVMs. IT will also offer the added accessibility of a manually adjustable day/night IRVM, manual AC, electronically adjustable ORVMs, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, central locking, and power windows. It will also come with a 2-DIN music system with Bluetooth connectivity.

The next variant in line is going to be the VXi variant. It will have all the features of LXi variant but will offer LED projector headlamps with DRLs, wheel covers, and black roof rails. On the inside, it will get illuminated glovebox and footwell, and fabric inserts on door armrests. Also, the electrically foldable ORVMs, steering mounted controls, push-button start-stop, rear seat headrest, automatic climate controls, and rear defogger will be offered in this variant. The AT version will get the added advantage of hill hold assist.

The ZXi is the second-highest variant on the list. It comes with all the features offered in VXi as standard. However, there would be some extra features offered over them. The features that the ZXi variant will have over and above the VXi variant are Gunmetal grey roof rails, black alloy wheels, rear washer and wiper, height-adjustable driver seat, cruise control, 60:40 split rear seat with centre armrest, and the 7-inch Smartplay Studio infotainment system with support for Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Maruti will launch the Vitara Brezza facelift on 15 February with 7 variants and 9 colour options.

The last variant on the list is going to be the ZXi+. It will have all the features of the ZXi variant, plus a few more. It will get LED fog lamps, diamond-cut alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming IRVM, reverse parking camera, sliding front armrest with cupholders, auto headlamps and wipers, and auto-folding ORVMs. The ZXi+ variant can also be had in dual-tone colour options.
