New Need For Speed Game To Be Released Next Year

In November last year, Electronic Arts introduced the latest video game of the Need For Speed series called Need For Speed Heat. Developed by Ghost Games, Need For Speed Heat is now available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Need For Speed 2021 Short Preview (CRITERION GAMES)

Need For Speed Heat will be the last one from the NFS series to be developed by Ghost Game before Criterion takes on the position. It will mark the return of the British game developer to the world of racing games since its withdrawal from making NFS in 2013. The last time Criterion took full charge in the development of NFS titles was in 2010’s NFS Hot Pursuit and 2012’s NFS Most Wanted.

Both of the two have gained significant success and were acclaimed as two of the best NFS games from the beginning of the PlayStation 2. For all these reasons, fans of Need For Speed series have high hope for the next game to be developed by Criterion. A new preview video published on Fast Lane Gaming has fueled the excitement for the next NFS.

New Need For Speed will be developed by Criterion

The preview has revealed the graphics of the new game that will be out next year. Also, the preview also highlights new game's “seamless immersion” which is promised to bring the players to the race within seconds. The two cars featured on the preview are the 1996 Nissan 180SX and a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The graphics of the two vehicles look so realistic that we might take it as the real-life images of the car. It  is expected that the next Need For Speed will be available in the second half of 2021, which means that we still have a year ahead to wait. More details might be revealed in the following months.
