New Toyota Fortuner Legender Spotted In A Parking

The new 2020 Fortuner facelift features a host of visual updates on outside and inside. It is expected to hit the Indian shores in the near future.

Recently, Toyota revealed the new Fortuner facelift in two different trim levels, namely- Standard and Legender. The standard variant is expected to hit the Indian shores by the first half of next year, while Legender trim will arrive sometime in the near future. Earlier, we’ve seen official images of the SUV shared by Toyota but the real word images of a car give us a different perspective. The new 2020 Toyota Fortuner Legender looks quite different from the regular model, the additional styling offered with the SUV is inspired by the latest crop of cars offered by Toyota globally. The Legender is the sportier version of the Fortuner as it gets sharp upper grille section, aggressive dual-LED projector headlamps with integrated L-shaped LED DRLs and a prominent lower grille.

The new Toyota Fortuner is powered by a more powerful 2.8-litre diesel motor

Upfront, the bumper looks quite aggressive and the red body colour gels up well with the black finished pillars. It also gets rear spoiler along with a blacked-out roof giving a two-tone appearance. The SUV sits on 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and at the back, it gets bumper with vertical blades in L-shape. The pictures you see here are of the new Fortuner Legender in Emotional Red colour with black roof dual-tone shade. Buyers can also select between White Pearl CS with Black roof and Attitude Black Mica colour schemes. Inside, the new Fortuner Legender features the same layout and other elements like the regular model.

It comes loaded with features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and  Android Auto compatibility, 9-speaker JBL sound system, ambient lighting, wireless charging pad, dual USB ports and so on. Moreover, it gets safety features like Lane Departure Alert, Dynamic Radar, Cruise Control, Pre-Collision System, Panoramic view monitor and much more. The updated model also gets new shock absorbers compared to regular Fortuner. Mechanically, it derives power from a 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre diesel engine. The former puts out power and torque outputs of 150 PS and 400 Nm, while the latter produces 204 PS and 500 Nm.
