Next-gen Honda Jazz’s Exterior Pictures Leaked Ahead Of Its World Premiere

2020 Honda Jazz will be fully revealed soon at the Tokyo Motor Show. Before the offical debut. a leaked image has revealed something about the upcoming model.

The new-gen Honda Jazz is scheduled to be displayed at the upcoming 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. It is expected to arrive in the India market in the second half of the following year.

2020 Tokyo Motor Show will see the debut of the new-gen Honda Jazz. However, ahead of the official world premiere, a leaked image has revealed the exterior of the upcoming Honda Jazz with the courtesy of autoblog.rs.

According to the new image, the fourth-gen Honda Jazz features a fresh new look with a thoroughly updated fascia. While retaining the original curvy and charming look, the new front end of Honda Jazz features a set of sharper and smaller headlights. The grille also reduces in size. Notably, the HEV number place on the front bumper suggests that the 2020 Honda Jazz will get a hybrid setting. The rear end of the Honda Jazz also sports some major updates. It is expected that the Honda Jazz will be available with an R version which features a more sporty and aggressive design than the regular model. In addition, the R variant will also get a more powerful engine.

Coming into the interior, next-gen Honda Jazz is spotted with a revised interior setting. As per some recent spy pictures, the Honda Jazz will get all-black interior colour scheme with some chrome inserts. It also gets some new features including a floating touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. These are by far all that we know about the new Honda Jazz’s interior.

With regard to the powertrain, Honda Jazz is powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged engine. This engine is capable of making a maximum power of 120 Bhp and 200 Nm of torque. Additionally, Honda Jazz will be available with a hybrid setting comprising of a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine and an i-MMD hybrid system. However, these powertrain options are restricted to the international market, while the Indian version will retain the old engines including 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5 diesel unit.
