As we’ve reported earlier, the next-gen Mahindra XUV500 will be based on the all-new monocoque architecture and will source the power from a new 2.0-litre diesel motor option. This mill is said to churn out more power than the current 2.2-litre diesel burner which is tuned to develop 155 horsepower. The new-gen XUV500 will be available with both manual and automatic transmission. Some range-topping trims will even get an AWD system.
