Nissan Magnite Final Teaser Issued Ahead of Debut Later Today

Production-ready Nissan Magnite will be revealed later today. Ahead of the world premiere, Nissan has released the final teaser video for the new Maruti Vitara Brezza rival

Nissan has set to introduce the new sub-compact SUV called Nisan Magnite this October 21st. Before the world premiere, Nissan has teased the look of the new Magnite via a new video. The latest teaser video has revealed some design details of the upcoming Maruti Vitara Brezza-rivalling SUV.

2020 Nissan Magnite 

The new compact SUV is built on the CMF-A+ platform which was developed by the Renault-Nissan Alliance. The same platform is also used on the Renault Triber MPV which was launched earlier this year in India.

Previously, Nissan had revealed the concept version of the Nissan Magnite. Compared to the initial concept version, the production version of the Nissan Magnite retains a majority of the original design. The front of the Magnite reminds us of the Datsun design language. On the front end, the Nissan Magnite features a hexagonal grille with sharp LED headlights, an aggressively-designed bumper and sculptured bonnet.  According to the new teaser, the Nissan Magnite also gets LED DRLs, faux skid plates, roof rails. On the side profile, the Nissan Magnite will feature some design elements like dual-tone alloy wheels ORVMs integrated with LED turn signal lights and muscular wheel arch cladding. To the rear end, the compact SUV is fitted with LED taillights and roof-mounted spoiler.

On the inside, the Nissan Magnite might get goodies like an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity features, steering mounted controls, a full-view degree camera, automatic climate control, and cruise control.

Nissan Magnite is ready to be revealed this October 21st

Under the hood, the Nissan Magnite is expected to be powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine with 71 PS. This engine is also employed on the Renault Triber. In addition, it is likely that Nissan will include the turbocharged version of the 1.0-litre petrol engine on the upcoming compact SUV. The turbocharged petrol unit is good for 99 Bhp and 160 Nm. These engines are expected to come with two transmission options including a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.

The official launch date of the Nissan Magnite is not yet to be confirmed. However, it is reported to get ready for launch around this festive season. Upon its arrival, Nissan Magnite will compete against the likes of Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, and Maruti Brezza.
