The all-new Nissan Magnite has started reaching the dealerships across the country. It is expected to hit the Indian shores by the upcoming festive season.
The Japanese automaker Nissan revealed its upcoming sub-4-meter SUV named as Magnite last month in India. And just after a few days, the car has started reaching Nissan dealerships around the country. One can expect the all-new Magite to hit our shores by mid of November. Once launched, it’ll rub shoulders with the likes of Kia Sonet, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. Nissan is expecting to achieve good sales numbers with their upcoming crossover SUV. Earlier, the carmaker failed to capture a good market share with its existing vehicles, which also includes Datsun.
The upcoming Nissan Magnite will be offered with a lot of segment-first features. It is the first made-in-India vehicle to feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and it’ll also employ first in segment features like a 360-degree camera and puddle lamps. Moreover, the SUV will also feature the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, mood lighting, Vehicle Dynamic Control, air purifier, anti-roll-bar and wireless smartphone charger.
The design language of the upcoming Nissan Magnite is quite impressive. From outside, the SUV looks aggressive as it employs sleek LED headlamps upfront. The L-shaped LED DRLs looks pretty unique, and the big massive grille with a few chrome inserts enhances the overall stance of the SUV. The SUV also employs a silver-coloured bash plate under the front and rear bumpers. On the side, the SUV gets 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin of the upcomingNissan Magnite boasts a lot of features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with all the latest connectivity options and a 7-inch fully digital TFT instrument console. The interior space of the Magnite is quite good, and Nissan claims that the SUV has best in segment rear legroom space. Mechanically, it’ll derive power from a 1.0-litre NA and turbo petrol unit. The former develops 72bhp of peak power while the latter will produce a power output of 95bhp. The NA unit will come paired to a 5-speed MT as standard while the turbocharged petrol motor will come mated to a 5-speed MT or a CVT.
