Nissan Magnite is the newest entrant in the sub-4m compact-SUV space, which is the most heated space of the Indian automotive industry. It has been launched at an introductory starting price of Rs. 4.99 lakh. Later, it will be hiked to Rs. 5.54 lakh. The all-new Magnite rivals with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. One can book the all-new Nissan Magnite through the company’s official website or via any Nissan dealership around the country at a token amount of Rs 11,000. The SUV is offered in four trim levels, three engine-gearbox combinations, and eight colour options.

In terms of looks, the all-new Nissan Magnite is one of the most good-looking cars in its segment. Upfront, it gets a large grille with chrome inserts, L-shaped LED DRLs, LED headlamps, and LED fog lamps. It also gets two-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, sleek yet functional roof rails, puddle lamps, and squared wheel arches. The cabin of the Nissan SUV features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, engine start-stop button, mobile holder, wireless charging pad, steering mounted audio controls, cruise control, fully-digital instrument console, rear armrest with cup holders and much more.

The powertrain options on the Magnite include a 1.0-litre NA petrol and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The former develops 71 Bhp of power and 96 Nm of peak torque, while the latter produces power and torque output of 99 Bhp and 160 Nm. The Magnite will be available with two transmission choices - 5-speed MT and CVT. However, the option of CVT is limited to the turbo-petrol only. Moreover, the SUV stands 205 mm above the ground and has a fuel tank capacity of 40 litres.
