The Nissan Magnite's attractive pricing combined with feature-loaded trims have led to huge demand. Resultantly, the Magnite's waiting period is now stretching to 7 months. Full story below.

The Nissan Magnite was launched a couple of months ago in December at an introductory price tag of Rs 4.99 lakh. This greatly undercut its rivals in the compact SUV segment, and given that it came with most of the features its competitors got, it has proven to be a hit in the Indian auto market. Currently, the Magnite has over 40,000 bookings in its first three months of being on sale, and Nissan has delivered over 6,500 units to customers so far. Naturally, such an overwhelming demand leads to a long waiting period, but the Japanese automaker has stated that they are operating at maximum capacity to reduce delivery times.
