Pre-Bookings For The Maruti XL6 Began Yesterday

Pre-bookings for the Maruti XL6 commenced yesterday with a deposit of Rs 11,000.

Pre-bookings for the Maruti XL6 started yesterday. Auto customers are requested to pay a deposit of Rs 11,000 if they want to become the first owners of the premium MPV.

The Maruti XL6 has its own identity with unique features from inside out. In the front, it will come with a flatter hood, a new trapezoidal grille with chrome elements, automatic LED headlights and bolder bumpers. On the side profile, the wheel arches will get intimidating black cladding which will stretch from the side to the rear to lend the car a bold stance and a robust appearance. Moreover, the car will also be equipped with black alloy wheels and silver roof rails. Coming to the rear, some outstanding features are expected to include a more muscular bumper and a roof-mounted spoiler. All of these features contribute to the XL6 a contemporary and robust appearance.

The front of the Maruti XL6 will come with its own identity with unique features.

As regards the Maruti XL6 interior, the MPV will be equipped with a wide range of top-notch features which include two captain seats in the middle row and leather seat coverings. Other outstanding features of the new XL6 will include a 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system, a multi-functional steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers and AC vents on all the seat rows.

The Maruti XL6 will come with a 6-seater seat layout with two captain seats in the second row.

Moreover, the new MPV will also feature a Smart Studio touchscreen infotainment system and AC vents on all the seat rows.

The Maruti XL6 will keep under its hood a BSVI-compliant K15B naturally aspirated 4-cyl gasoline motor with a two-battery mild-hybrid system. The motor can generate a maximum power of 105 PS against a peak torque of 138 Nm. The transmission duties will be undertaken by a 5-speed MT at the launch of the vehicle and a 4-speed torque converter at a later date.

The Maruti XL6 will be offered in two variants only. The price is expected to range from INR 8 lakh for the base Zeta variant to INR 9.57 lakh for the top-spec Alpha variant. This price range will help the XL6 effectively compete against the Renault Duster, the Maruti S-Cross and the Hyundai Creta.
