Pre-facelift Renault Duster Available With Discounts Worth Rs 1 Lakh

Renault Duster Facelift 2019 was launched yesterday. Reportedly, the deliveries of the new model have already commenced, while dealers have started offering some lucrative discounts to clear the existing inventory of the earlier version. The earlier version of the diesel-powered Renault Duster is available with a Rs 1 lakh discount. The offers comprise Rs 50,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 50,000 direct cashback. On the other hand, the petrol models are available with a maximum discount of Rs 30,000. If this discount scheme doesn’t work for you, there is a chance that dealers could offer some additional benefits.

Customers of the pre-facelift Renault Duster are offered a huge discount of up to 1 lakh

The new version, despite its numerous cosmetic and feature updates, is essentially the same in terms of engineering. The 2019 Renault Duster facelift carries forward the old 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder unit producing a maximum power of 104 bhp and a peak torque of 142 Nm. This motor is coupled with either a 5-speed manual or automatic CVT gearbox. On the other hand, the diesel variants receive power from the 1.5-litre K9K turbocharged unit. This engine comes into two different states of tunes, 84 Bhp/200 Nm and 108 Bhp/245 Nm. While the less powerful oil-burner comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the 110 PS motor is available with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard and a 6-speed AMT on the FWD version. 

Renault Duster facelift 2019 shares the same mechanical setting with the pre-facelift version

The 2019 Renault Duster facelift is on sale in a price range of Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with several updates that are not available on the previous version. First of all, the new Duster palette now includes two new colours, Mahogany Brown and Caspian Blue. On the outside, the new Duster receives redesigned grille, new bumper, new projector headlights, and revised wheels. Inside the car, new Duster is loaded with new features like an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cooled glove box, a new steering, refreshed centre console and rectangular AC vents.
