Refreshed Mahindra Bolero (BS6 Model) - Prices and Brochure

Mahindra and Mahindra has finally announced the prices of the heavily updated 2020 Mahindra Bolero facelift. The price of the BS6 Mahindra Bolero starts from Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is not much more than the price of the outgoing BS4 model.

One can expect, Mahindra to hike the prices of the Bolero facelift by Rs 70,000 in the coming months

However, one can expect Mahindra to hike prices of the Bolero facelift by a significant margin in the coming months. The new BS6 Mahindra Bolero comes withnew trims, as the carmaker is now offering the new BS6 model in just three different variants. These variants include the entry-level B4, mid-spec B6 and top-spec B6 (O) variants.

The mid-spec B6 trim is priced at Rs 8.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the top-of-the-line B6 (O) variant carries a price tag of Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Two weeks ago, Mahindra dealers around the country started getting their hands on the first batch of the 2020 Bolero facelift. Compared to the pre-facelift model, the new Bolero gets a redesigned bumper, grille and headlamp cluster upfront. In terms of safety, the carmaker’s longest-running model in the country now complies with new crash test norms, which were introduced back in 2019. Furthermore, the new Bolero facelift also complies with the upcoming pedestrian safety norms, which are slated to be implemented by October this year. This fact also makes the new Mahindra Bolero the first vehicle in India with metal bumpers to clear pedestrian safety regulations.

The 2020 Mahindra Bolero facelift derives power from an updated, BS-6 compliant, 1.5-litre three-cylinder mHawk75 diesel engine that produces a peak output of 75 bhp. The transmission duties, on the other hand, are taken care of by a 5-speed manual transmission. The Mahindra Bolero is among the strongest selling products in its company’s stable and is among the most popualr models in the auto landscape of India’s rural areas. From April 2019 to January 2020, the carmaker managed to sell around 52,828 units of Bolero nationwide.
