The original Mk3 Swift is offered in two different grilles up front, one with horizontal slats and another one with honeycomb mesh pattern. It also features two different front bumpers, with one of them being a tad sportier. The new Swift facelift will also be offered with two distinctive front grille and bumper designs. Like the pre-facelift model, the updated hatchback will be sold with an option of a sportier grille and a sportier front bumper.

The sporty-looking radiator grille of the upcoming model will feature bigger honeycomb-mesh openings. The hatchback also gets a new set of alloy wheels. Except for these subtle cosmetical tweaks, the upcoming model will look quite similar to the ongoing Swift. Furthermore, the cabin styling of the car will also be the same. The carmaker will sell the 2020 Swift facelift in Japan in five different variants, namely- XG, RS, Hybrid MG, Hybrid RS and Hybrid ZS. It’ll also be offered in four different two-tone colour shade options. The Hybrid MG and Hybrid RS trims will be retailed with a mild-hybrid system, while the top-of-the-line Hybrid SZ variant will be offered with a full-hybrid system. There’s no word from the carmaker’s side regarding the mechanical changes. In our country, the Mk3 Swift was launched back in January 2018, so we can expect the automaker to introduce the Swift facelift by next year.
