Renault India will soon introduce a new variant of the Triber that will feature AMT and a more powerful petrol engine
The Indian subsidiary of the French carmaker, Renault, is celebrating International women’s day across all its dealerships from 2nd to 8th March 2020. In order to strengthen its relationship with the existing buyers, the carmaker is offering some exclusive services for its women customers. This newly introduced Women’s day offer includes services like 'free of cost pick up' and drop facility along with special training sessions on vehicle maintenance and necessary checks.

The main purpose of Renault behind organizing this service camp is to make women more self-reliant and independent. During the women’s day celebration week, the French giant is offering some assured gifts, like 10% discount on Parts and Accessories, 10% discount on Labor and Value Added Services, 10% discount on Renault Secure (Extended Warranty), and RSA. This offer also includes free health checkup for women customers throughout the week
In other news, Renault will soon introduce the Triber MPV with an AMT and even a 1.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine. The ongoing model is propelled by a 1.0-litre three-pot engine, which churns out power and torque outputs of 72 PS and 96 Nm. The upcoming turbo petrol engine will produce 100 PS of peak power and 160 Nm of twisting force. The new mill produces 28 PS and 64 Nm more compared to the ongoing model. The Transmission duties will be done by a 5-speed gearbox.
Apart from getting an AMT variant, the Triber will even get a 1.0-litre Turbo option which produces 28 PS and 64 Nm more than the current naturally-aspirated engine.
The Renault Triber AMT is about to become the most-affordable automatic 7-seater car in the Indian market. It comes loaded with features like a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully-digital speedometer, auto start/stop button, four power windows and rear wiper and washer. The prices of the ongoing BSVI-complaint Renault Triber ranges between Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 6.78 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The prices of the upcoming turbocharged petrol variants are expected to go up to Rs 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
