Renault Kwid Neotech Edition Launched, Gets More Features

Renault Kwid Neotech Edition goes on sale in the country. Prices start at INR. 4.29 lakh and gets a slew of changes in comparison to the regular trims.

Renault India has launched the limited edition of the Renault Kwid called the Neotech. It is a result of the French automaker’s efforts to attract new customers in this festive season when more buyers are willing to purchase cars. The Kwid Neotech is offered in three variants with a price range from INR 4.29 lakh to INR 4.83 lakh.

The Renault Kwid Neotech Edition has just been launched in the Indian auto market at INR 4.29 lakh.

The limited-edition of hatchback features dual-tone paint schemes, namely Moonlight Silver (body) with Zanskar Blue (roof) and Zanskar Blue (body) with Moonlight Silver (roof). As regards the exterior, the Kwid Neotech comes with upmarket chrome inserts, Volcano Grey flex wheels, Neotech cladding on the doors, sporty 3D decals on the C-pillars, and blackened B-pillars. All of these changes do add to the flare of the Renault Kwid Neotech Edition.

In terms of the interior, Renault Kwid Neotech Edition is loaded with a wide range of top-notch features. These include an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Aux and USB provision for the front row, and a multi-functional steering wheel with chrome accents and Zanskar Blue deco. Other interior highlights include fabric seat covers and chrome & blue inserts around the AMT gear knob.

The powertrain and transmission options of the Renault Kwid Neotech remain the same as the regular version. The Renault Kwid Neotech edition is powered by a 0.8-litre three-cylinder petrol motor which can produce 53 BHP against 72 Nm, and it comes paired to a 5-speed MT. There's an option of bigger 1.0-litre 3-cylinder DOHC gasoline engine, which can generate 67 BHP against 91 Nm and is mated to a 5-speed MT and an optional 5-speed AMT.
