The Auto Expo is the biggest bi-annual event of the Indian automobile industry. The upcoming Auto Expo which will be held in five days starting from 7th February will see the flux of various new models from major car brands in our market. Notably, the line-up for the Auto Expo will include all the existing Renault cars in the India market, along with a few upcoming ones. In the occasion of the big auto event, Renault will announce its roadmap in India. It is likely that the car manufacturer will reveal details of its plan regarding the development of technology, design, and customer services.

Along with ongoing models, Renault will allot a corner for electric vehicles only

On embracing the growing trend of electrical vehicles, Renault will have a special corner dedicated to displaying electric car models only. It is reported that Renault will bring a variety of electric vehicles including production models as well as concept cars. It is worth noticing that one of the electric vehicles on display will be an F1 racing concept car! Renault K-ZE will also show up at the Auto Expo, probably in its China-spec production form. The K-ZE is based on the facelifted Kwid hatchback that is sold in the Indian market. There was a rumour about the possibility of launching this car in our market.

Going back to Renault’s current activities in our market, the brand has introduced the BSVI-ready version of the Kwid and Triber. The company also plans to launch the BSVI-compliant Duster and Captur before the new emission norms kick in. The recent updates have also pushed the price up slightly. For Renault Kwid, the price is increased by Rs 4,000 to Rs 15,000 while the Triber sees the price changes of Rs 9,000 across the range.  For more details about the upcoming 2020 Auto Expo, visit IndianAuto.com
