Skoda Auto India Launches EasyBuy Buyback Program For The Superb

Skoda Auto has recently launched the EasyBuy Buyback programme for its Superb range in the country. The Czech automaker has made its all-new programme available through Skoda’s Financial Services exclusively with an assured 57 per cent of buyback value for a new Superb at the end of the 3-year contract period.

Also, when customers have reached the end of the three-year tenure, they can choose from two easy options: one is to return the car to the contacted dealer with no further liability and another is to charge an outstanding amount to retain their ownership for an extended contractual term. The former, of course, will be considered under the wear and tear of the car as well as the allowed number of kilometres offered on the model. On the other hand, through this program, Skoda customers can avail up to 100 per cent of finance along with a cut-down equated monthly instalments (EMIs) of Rs 30,000 over the normal scheme for a three-year period. Skoda also facilitates its beloved customers to trade in the existing Superb model and use the buyback value to make a purchase on a totally-new Skoda offering.

The EasyBuy programme is considered a unique offering scheme by the Czech automaker to boost up the sales of the Superb premium sedan in India.

When speaking about the company’s brand new initiative, MD & CEO of Volkswagen Finance, Aashish Deshpande noted,

“With our unique financing solutions coupled with the finesse of ŠKODA Cars, the launch of ‘EasyBuy' is another step towards offering a one-stop solution. One which is tailored to the financial and aspirational requirements of the customers. We are confident that this product will act as a true enabler for customer convenience.”

The premium saloon segment seems to lose out its sheer values to the SUVs segment in India over the last few years. However, it still manages to attract a loyal batch of buyers who enjoy the comfort offered in a three-box design. And the Skoda Superb is still a heavyweight competitor in the segment as it bitterly rivals the likes of Volkswagen Passat, Honda Accord Hybrid and Toyota Camry Hybrid.
