As we all know, one of the biggest advantages of CNG vehicles is the lower level of carbon emission, which contributes to the environmental-friendly nature of this fuel type. What’s more, the running cost of a CNG vehicle is also significantly lower than that of a pure petrol-powered unit. For this reason, many people have opted for the CNG-fitted model. Since the CNG kit is now factory-fitted, customers won’t have to worry about safety and quality.

At the moment, India-spec Skoda Rapid is powered by one engine, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine is capable of making a top power of 110 PS and a maximum torque of 175 Nm. There are two transmission options, a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
