Suzuki Ertiga Sport Launched In Indonesia At IDR 241 Million

Manufactured in the Suzuki Sport division of the company, Suzuki Ertiga Suzuki Sport made its first debut as the concept model at GIIAS 2018. The vehicle is a smarter, sharper, more aggressive and more fashionable version of the normal Suzuki Ertiga.

The Suzuki Ertiga Suzuki Sport is available in three colour options: Cool Black, Pearl Snow White and Metallic Magma Grey. It is 4,470 mm long, which is longer than the regular version by 75 mm. It features a special front grille and LED DRLs which are positioned by the two sides of the front bumper. These two features give the vehicle a unique appearance.

On the side profile, the Ertiga Suzuki Sport comes with 15-inch two-tone sleek alloy wheels which are borrowed from the standard version. In the rear, a Suzuki Sport badge gets a red-and-blue paint scheme. Moreover, the new bumper system which includes the under spoilers in the front and the side as well as the upper and under spoiler in the rear also contributes to the glamorous on-road appearance of the vehicle.

As regards the interior, the Suzuki Ertiga Suzuki Sport sets itself apart from the standard variant with a different black dashboard and seat coverings. Moreover, the Suzuki Sport offers the customers a higher level of security, thanks to the availability of the dynamic stability control (DSC), which is absent in the regular version. Besides this, there are no distinctions between the two variants with respect to interior features.

The Suzuki Ertiga Suzuki Sport continues to be powered by the K15B 1.5L VVT naturally aspirated petrol motor which can churn out a maximum power of 105 bhp at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 138 Nm at 4,400 rpm. Transmission duties are undertaken by either a 5-speed MT gearbox or a 4-speed AT unit.

Suzuki All New Ertiga Suzuki Sport

When receiving the power via a 5-speed MT gearbox, the Suzuki Ertiga Suzuki Sport is priced at IDR 241 million (about INR 11.7 lakh). On the other hand, when packed with the 4-speed AT unit, it has a price of IDR 251.5 million (INR 12.2 lakh).

Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the Ertiga in a similar sporty version in India this year in the festive season and sell the vehicle via Nexa dealerships. It is likely to receive the power from the new Maruti Suzuki’s 1.5L diesel and 1.5L petrol motors.
