Here are images of a new customization kit for Suzuki Jimny named 'Black Bison'. This new kit makes the off-roader look look more robust

Suzuki Jimny is one of the most capable offroaders at its price point. To make the SUV look more off-road oriented, Wald International has introduced a customization kit for the SUV named as ‘Black Bison’. The new customization kit makes the Jimny look more functional and enhances its overall design. This modified Suzuki Jimny is painted in two-tone dark grey and black colour shade along with a few red accents.

The new customization kit makes for the Suzuki Jimny is among the best we've seen so far

Upfront, the SUV employs a customized bumper and round LED headlights with LED DRLs. The car also features a multi-slat grille and a metallic skid plate. Moreover, the side profile of the Suzuki Jimny Black Bison gets huge off-road tyres and extended wheel arches to accommodate the giant wheels. Furthermore, the SUV also employs some aftermarket fitments like roof-mounted LED lights, twin bonnet scoop and a body-coloured spare tyre mount. Right now, the SUV is offered in limited markets around the globe. The carmaker has plans to introduce the SUV into the Indian market by next year. Suzuki will develop an exclusive 5-door version of the SUV for our market.

Internationally, the Suzuki Jimny Sierra derives power from a 1.5-litre four-pot petrol unit that produces 105 PS of peak power and 138 Nm of peak torque. The same engine does duties in Maruti Brezza facelift, Ciaz, Ertiga, and upcoming 2020 S-Cross. Inside, one can expect the car to come loaded with features like cruise control, SmartPlay Studio Touchscreen Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, automatic AC, auto headlamps and much more.

Right now, the SUV is offered in limited markets around the globe, with the India launch being on the anvil.

Maruti Suzuki can rename the India-spec Jimny Sierra after the iconic Gypsy, which got discontinued recently and has served the country for over 35 years. Once launched, the Suzuki Jimny will compete with the likes of Force Gurkha and upcoming new-gen Mahindra Thar.
