Tata Altroz will be launched soon. Tata recently teased the official website for the upcoming Maruti Baleno rival

Tata Altroz will be Tata’s next big launch in 2019. Ahead of its debut, Tata Motors launched the official website for their new premium hatchback. After going live for 24 hours, the website has attracted more than 1,00,000 visitors, which foretells the exciting prospect of this hatchback.

Tata started going live on 13 June. To arouse the curiosity, Tata decided not to reveal the full website at one go but instead gradually revealed it. Only when the site reaches the 1 lakh visit mark would Tata publish the full version. In Tata’s expectation, the 1 lakh milestone would be achieved within days. However, as it turns out, the website attracted such an unexpectedly overwhelming response from the car fanatics and interested buyers that it reached the goal just in 24 hours.

The main website for Tata Altroz features a modern and futuristic design, just like the car itself. Tata also introduces some highlights of the Tata Altroz on the front page. On the top of the front page sits the slogan “To Redefine The Urban Car”. Under the top banner, strolling down the site, we will see three main headlines for the exterior, interior and the architecture of the Altroz. About the exterior, Tata Altroz will be inspired by Tata’s IMPACT 2.0 design philosophy. On the inside, it is promised to come with “modern, intelligent and tastefully crafted interior.” The new ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced Architecture) is also one of the highlights on the new Altroz. In general, the Altroz, as pitched by Tata Motor, will be a premium well-rounded urban car that provides convenient mobility, stunning design along with advanced technology and connectivity.

Tata Altroz is promoted as the next redefining urban car

At the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, the Tata Altroz, under the production form, was powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This engine is able to make 102 PS and 140 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. A 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine is also expected on the Altroz. Besides the 5-speed manual gearbox, an AMT unit is likely to be available on the 1.2-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre engine.
