India is under lockdown till 14th April 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic. This lockdown has impacted the Indian automobile industry on a massive scale. Car and bike dealerships across the country are closed to promote social distancing in the ongoing period. Tata has come up with a unique way to keep its sales going. A person can now book a Tata car online, and the vehicle will be delivered to buyers home. It’s just like ordering product from an e-commerce website or, well, say, ordering a steaming hot pizza!

Tata Motors India has announced that they will now deliver new cars to the customer’s doorstep. The carmaker has said that a buyer can browse the cars on their official website and can book it as per their choice. Once the booking gets confirmed, the selected dealership will contact the buyer to get through the process of buying. The dealership officials will help him to get best offers, finance options, estimate the value of old car and price quotation. The sales guides will be in touch with customer via email, video call or WhatsApp and will guide him through his new car purchase. Moreover, one can also apply for a loan and other finance options online.

Tata has already started the online service of booking vehicles, and a you can purchase a new Tata car sitting at home. Tata Motors is already offering a wide range of cars in the Indian market, including popular models like the Altroz, Tiago, Nexon, Harrier, etc. Soon, the carmaker will launch the all-new Tata Gravitas (7-seater Harrier), which will rub its shoulders with the likes of Mahindra XUV500. The SUV is expected to hit the Indian shores in the upcoming festive season
