The three-row version of the Tata Harrier dubbed Tata Gravitas might launch in August 2020. Tata Gravitas 6-seater will directly rival the upcoming MG Hector Plus in India.

Ever since the Tata Harrier was first introduced, it has been a crowd favourite. In a bid to garner more buyers who enthuse the Harrier with the third row of seats, Tata is gearing up for the bigger brother of the Harrier, dubbed the Gravitas, which has been spotted on its trials in Coimbatore recently. The spotted car looks like the 6-seater version of the Gravitas which has garnered a lot of attention during its official debut at the Auto Expo 2020.

Under the hood, we can expect the Tata Gravitas to rely on a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine derived from the Harrier in the same state of tune. Being an iteration of FCA 2.0 Multijet II engine, the engine will churn out around 170 BHP of max power and 350 Nm of peak torque and of course it will be BSVI compliant.

Excitingly, the Gravitas is believed to feature a much-anticipated all-wheel-drive system that is given a miss on the Tata Harrier. Expect the upcoming Tata Gravitas to be priced at around Rs 17 – 21 Lakh (estimated, ex-showroom).
