The new Atlas Black colour option has been listed on an official document at an authorized dealer.

When Tata Motors introduced its brand new Harrier to the Indian enthusiasts, it involves five body colour options- Calisto Copper, Orcus White, Ariel Silver, Telesto Grey and Thermisto Gold. Surprisingly, a company’s authorized showroom in Gurugrame has released the latest Tata Harrier’s price list in which an Altas Black shade was included while the official company’s website is still yet to list out the new paint option.

An authorized dealer named Hartron Motors LLP has revealed a new Altas Black colour for the Harrier

Launched on January 23, 2019, the all-new Tata Harrier hit the market with four variants, namely XE, XM, XT, XZ and as abovementioned five body paint options. As per the latest document from the dealer, the base-level Harrier is exclusively available with a single Orcus White colour scheme while the new Altas Black shade can be accessible for the XM, XZ and ZT variants. Notably, the Calisto Copper paint option, seen through virtually all promotions of the Harrier is offered restrictively for the XZ and XT trims only.

As mentioned in our earlier reports, the new Tata Harrier SUV employs an FCA-sourced 2.0-litre Multijet II turbocharged diesel burner that is so-called Kryotec as its heart. With the integration of the electronically-controlled Variable Geometry Turbocharger (eVGT), the Harrier comes to produce the max power of 140 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. While the Harrier’s powertrain is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, there are also some hints emerged online that an optional Hyundai-sourced 6-speed automatic unit is on the cards for a later release.

The Tata Harrier measures a 4,598 mm in length, 1,894 mm in width and 1,706 mm in height. Also, it holds a ground clearance of 205 mm along with 2,741 mm in the wheelbase. These hefty dimensions help the car attain 425 litres of boot space in normal stance and can be extended to 810 litres once the rear seats are folded down.

The Harrier is anticipated to be an instant hit among the customers in India

Particularly, the 2019 Tata Harrier now is taking over the Nexon to become the official partner of the biggest sporting event- the VIVO Indian Premier League (VIVO IPL) which will be started on March 23 of this year. Commenting on this event, Mr Mayank Pareek, President Of Passenger Vehicle Bussiness Unit, Tata Motors revealed that,

“Born of legendary pedigree, the Harrier has received a phenomenal response from customers across India. Much like the IPL, which is one of the most iconic global cricketing events, and is widely celebrated as a platform for budding talent and international cricket legends, the Harrier too is known for its exhilarating performance and exciting drive. We have elaborate plans to capture the audience’s attention in-stadia, on-air and across digital platforms, and hope to drive tremendous value from this association yet again.”
