Tata Harrier Black Edition launch will happen next month as the carmaker will finally introduce the much-awaited paint option for the rival of the MG Hector and upcoming Kia Seltos

Tata Harrier was launched earlier this year. The new SUV has gained recognition for its well-equipped package and competitive pricing. However, Tata Harrier’s good time might not last long due to the entrance of newer models with aggressive offerings like MG Hector and upcoming Kia Seltos. Thereby, Tata Motors has constantly delivered changes to its mid-size SUV in recent months. Previously, the Tata Harrier automatic with sunroof was spied undergoing road test on public roads. Other than the new transmission version and sunroof, Tata Motors also enhanced some parts of the Tata Harrier, for example, sound insulation, clutch and steering feedback. The latest update from the homegrown carmaker confirmed that the Tata Harrier Black Edition is very close to its market launch and from the looks of it, the new paint option will be on offer from August.

'The Tata Harrier Black Edition Will Possibly Launch Next Month And Will Feature all-black colour schemes, inside out!'

The Tata Harrier Black Edition was showcased at the recent annual meeting of Tata Motors. The show car has a gloss-black finish over the bodywork. Other details of the exterior also follow the black theme, for example, the all-black alloy wheels and black front skid-plate. The front bumper on other colour versions features a contrasting black-silver tone, but on the all-black model, all is finished in black. However, the chrome lines around the window retain, flattering the premium black theme.

Inside the cabin, the interior consistently reflects the all-black theme. Replacing the brown seat cover is the all-black leather upholstery. The faux-wood element featured on the dashboard is replaced by the matte-grey finish. Apart from the colour changes, the new version will see no other alternations.

The all-black option will be added to the colour palette besides the four single-tone exterior colours including Calisto Copper, Thermistor Gold, Telesto Grey, Ariel Silver, and Orcus White as well as the dual-colour options. The price of the new black version is not determined yet. It is expected to on par with the premium dual-tone version. Apart from launching the Tata Harrier Black Edition, Tata Motors is also gearing up for the introduction of the seven-seater version of the mid-size SUV called Buzzard. The new car is expected to arrive around the festive season. You can find regular updates on the Tata Harrier and its seven-seater model on IndianAuto.com
