Tata Harrier Dark Edition Details Leaked Ahead of Launch

Tata Harrier's upcoming Dark Edition's detail and images have been revealed in a development leak. The dark Edition will come painted with a new Atlas Black color scheme, while it is also expected to be available for a limited period only.

Tata Harrier has been the most hyped product from its manufacturer since it was first unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo in the form of H5X concept. The Harrier has received a lot of attention for the overall package that Tata has packed it up as. Speaking of its colour palette, the Calisto Copper has so far remained as the most attention-seeking colour option for this SUV. However, the customers have always raised queries about the launch timeline of a black paint shade. In fact, a Harrier owner even went to the extent of wrapping the car up in the matt-black skin.

 

Tata  Harrier Dark Edition pictures and details have leaked online ahead of its official debut.

Now, Tata has confirmed the arrival of black colour option for the Tata Harrier in the form of Dark Edition. Though it is expected to be offered in the market for a limited run only, finally, it will give the buyers an option of a factory-spec black colour scheme. As the leaked documents suggest, this limited edition of the Harrier will be a black-themed version of the existing car. It can be surely seen in the images that the Dark Edition of the Harrier will have a huge road presence. Talking about the changes, the Dark Edition will have black-coloured alloy wheels, door handles, ORVMs, grey headlamp bezels, Blackstone front and rear skid plates, and “Dark” moniker on the side. The bodyshell will be finished in Altlas Black colour shade.

On the inside, the car will come trimmed with Benecke Kaliko Blackstone leather upholstery, while the elegant dashboard will now be offered in a Blackstone Matrix finish. While the door pads and door handles will be finished in same leather material, the latter will come with perforated texture on it. The Black Edition is expected to be offered with the XZ trim only.

The details revealed about the Dark Edition provides key information about the changes expected.

Under the hood, the Black Edition of the Tata Harrier will come fitted with the same 140hp engine, but the cosmetic add-ons will result in an extra premium of around INR 30,000.
