Tata Harrier prices now start from Rs 13.43 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base 'XE' variant.
With Kia announcement to increase the Seltos' price by Rs 35,000 in January 2020, Tata Motors has also decided to jump on the bandwagon by announcing the price increment for its most modern SUV – Tata Harrier. Prices of the Harrier SUV have now been hiked up by up to Rs 45,000 depending upon the variant. Last month, various Tata dealerships were seen offering massive discounts of up to Rs 1.75 lakh for the Harrier.
With the increased price, the Tata Harrier now retails for between Rs 13.43 – 17.30 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Prices of all Harrier variants have been jacked up by around Rs 35,000 to Rs 45,000.
The Harrier XT Dark variant is now positioned at Rs 16 Lakh which amounts to a hike of Rs 45,000. The top-spec Harrier XZ trim is now priced at Rs 17.19 Lakh which translates to a premium of Rs 44,000 over the older Rs 16.75 lakh price sticker. Tata Harrier was officially introduced to India in January 2019 and has reportedly witnessed a sale of around 15,000 units in the country. It should be noted that Tata commences the price increment for its car on the onset of the new year, not due to the imminent complementation of the BSVI emission norms. That said, another price hike for Tata car could be made by the time the BSVI rollout in April 2020 or when the BSVI-compliant Harrier version goes on sale in India.
